The wild, unrestricted love of God is not simply an inspiring idea. When it imposes itself on mind and heart with the stark reality of ontological truth, it determines why and at what time you get up in the morning, how you pass your evenings, how you spend your weekends, what you read, and who you hang with; it affects what breaks your heart, what amazes you, and what makes your heart happy.

This is Abby. I got the pleasure of working with her this past year and along with that, getting to know her heart. And let me tell you, she is one of the most intentional, authentic, and lovely people I know. To the seniors graduating this month: If you’re feeling sad about leaving and what it is going to be like making new friends because you feel like you know such awesome people, you’re right. You do know some really wonderful people. But the good news is that God isn’t done putting wonderful people in your life. He isn’t done giving you wonderful friendships and teaching you wonderful things and taking you on wonderful adventures. There are Abbys out there for you to meet too. And yes, they might be named Stephanie or Jonathan or Phil or Jake or Christy, but God will bring them in at just the perfect time and you might not even know it.
